Join us for a morning of outdoor figure drawing! This workshop will be a wonderful opportunity to learn how to situate your figure in an environment, to practice translating what you see to what you draw, and expereince the magic that is drawing nature directly from life. We will warm up with some observational drawing games. Once we are nice and relaxed we will bring out a model for a series of gesture poses and some long poses!

Sketchbooks and a variety of mediums will be provided but attendees are welcome to bring their own supplies.

This workshop is founded upon principles of respect and care for all bodies. With that in mind we want to mention the following:

• the workshop will be outside (plenty of shade available)
• masks encouraged to keep this space accessible for all
  
• there is a restroom available on-site but it is not wheelchair accessible
• ADA compliant bathrooms (one stall) are available at the rec center acoss the street ~ 250f from Lucia House
• there will be some seating available but we encourage you to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and pillows for your own personal comfort.
